Uncertainty in the face of a new future.
Prepare yourself with the best tools to achieve a greater and better future.
When asked as a child what do I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always answered… “I want the world to know my name!”. Originally, I wanted to achieve that by coming a video game designer. It was something I consumed everyday and always felt a sense of identity in the art factors present in the medium. As funny as that sounds nowadays, I must say that deep inside I do want that to happen in one way or another, yet I have develop new interest and grown up as a person. In return this altered my path of life and will surely impact any decision I take further down the road.
The idea of making a great impact on some grand scale has always fuel me to continue striving on my work and practices. With practices I mean media and more specificially I mean three main areas of focus I have in my daily life. Those being, football, video games and digital marketing. In an ideal world, if someone now asks me what do I want to do when I grow up, I would answer that I would like to form my own internet media company that tackles the topics present in the world of football and video games. However, I would also like to add a section that dedicates itself to the new entrepreneurs of the world. In other words, a platforms for them to grow and learn.
In the grand scheme things I would like to take charge of the entire operation, both behind and in front cameras. I know it’s ambitious but there’s nothing in this world that you can’t achieve. I’ve seen many examples of this in my life and I hope I can be of inspiration for the next generation that proceeds.
“Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you.”
— Jim Rohn
I started my journey, per say, when I created a YouTube channel surrounding football. I’ve talked about it in this blog before and it was serve as a great stepping stone into the internet world. However, I was naive to assume I could remain interested by that for the longest time. Personally, diversifying in my content is something I want to continue and since I am a content creator that loves most if not all aspects of the different stages of productions I am bound to get bored if I constantly dedicate all my time to one thing. As a producer I have to constantly strive for improvment and quality. I can be one day super on top the idea of producing a video, while two days into the project I want to put time aside to make a high render poster.
What I have learnt from this is that I need to have breathers in between to be able to have the quality content without causing me mental fatigue. I never try to put myself in between my projects but I have learnt that sometimes that is exactly what is required.
